Bringing good to our community
Our motivation
In April 2023, many Ten Feet Tall families joined together to raise money for founder Sarah Hartley's daughter Emma, allowing Emma and her family to travel to Germany to receive medical treatment for a rare disorder. The financial and practical generosity from the Ten Feet Tall family during this time was overwhelming and touching for the Hartleys and they committed to paying it forward when they could. The GOOD Project is an ongoing legacy of this generosity.
The GOOD Project
We want to do GOOD in the lives of our students, families and community. Enter: The GOOD Project and the three ways we are giving back to those in need.
Nominate a child for a Scholarship
If you know of a family who is having a tough time: with sickness or challenging circumstances - with their permission, we would love to help! Nominate a child for our Ten Feet Tall Scholarship – a year’s worth of free weekly group classes. We consider all applications carefully and choose 1-3 students each term. If you know of a child who deserves this opportunity, please fill out the form below, briefly outlining their situation. Please note: the family must be able to commit to group classes weekly at one of our locations without it adding to their stress. Families must have given their permission for you to apply.
Gifting time to teachers
If you think your Auckland based school would benefit from a free professional development session in teaching Public Speaking, we'd love to offer our services. We can run our one-hour workshop that can be delivered at a staff meeting. To apply, please email: admin@tenfeettall.co.nz
Donating to community causes
We are committed to giving money to Kids Can and other local charities every month to support children in need. Email us about a local charity who needs help: admin@tenfeettall.co.nz
