competition coaching classes -Build Real Confidence
Competitions give students a clear goal, a real audience, and the opportunity to perform at a higher level.
They are one of the fastest ways to build confidence, resilience, and communication skills — helping students move from participating in class to performing with purpose.
At Ten Feet Tall, competitions are not about pressure or perfection.
They are about growth, courage, and learning to perform when it matters.
Who Competitions Are For
Competitions are a great next step for:
- Students who enjoy performing and want to extend themselves
- Students ready to build confidence under pressure
- Students preparing for exams or senior speaking opportunities
- Students who are motivated by goals and challenges
Competitions are always optional.
Our coaches will guide you if and when it’s the right time for your child.

What Students Gain
Students who take part in competitions develop:
- Confidence under pressure — performing in front of unfamiliar audiences
- Stronger voice and stage presence — clarity, expression, and control
- Resilience and courage — learning to step up and give it a go
- Real performance experience — beyond the classroom
- Valuable external feedback from experienced adjudicators
These are the skills that carry into school speeches, interviews, leadership, and future opportunities.

How It Works
- All students are welcome to enter the competitions.
- Preparation happens within classes if the student is presenting one item or additional coaching on Sunday afternoon for students presenting multiple pieces.
- We guide families through registration and requirements.
- Students perform with the support of their coach and family.
We make the process simple, supported, and structured.
