Ten Feet Tall offers classes before school, during break times, during the school day and after school, giving families a range of options.

Students attending during the school day come out of their regular class for their Speech & Drama or Public Speaking lesson.

Kristin operates a 7-day timetable, so students do not miss the same school class each week.

Parents should consider their child's learning needs and school commitments when choosing a class time. Saturday classes are also available for families who prefer their child not to miss classroom learning.

Yes. For students in Years 1–6 attending during school hours, a Ten Feet Tall coach will collect them from their classroom and take them to their Ten Feet Tall lesson.

Students are returned after their lesson, so younger students do not need to find their way to and from the class independently.

Yes. Many students join Ten Feet Tall because they are shy or lack confidence speaking in front of others.

Our small, supportive classes give students plenty of opportunities to participate at their own pace and gradually become more confident speaking and performing.

At Ten Feet Tall, students learn by doing. Our classes are kept small so every student has plenty of opportunities to speak, perform and practise.

Every student speaks. Every lesson. Students also receive individual coaching and feedback to help them keep progressing.

Classes are taught in small groups of 5–8 students to ensure every child has plenty of opportunities to participate and receive individual attention.

A minimum of 5 students is required for a class to run.

Our classes are designed to be large enough to provide a real audience, but small enough for every student to speak or perform each week and receive individual coaching and feedback.

Our classes are designed for students from Year 1 to Year 13 with groups organised by age to ensure lessons are engaging, appropriate, and supportive for each stage.

Yes. Free trials are available in selected classes where spaces are available.

A trial gives your child the opportunity to join a class, meet their coach and experience Ten Feet Tall before enrolling.

Yes we offer unlimited make-up classes booked through our parent portal until week 8.

Make-up classes are offered where there are spaces in our timetable.

On Saturdays. Students from any school are welcome to attend our classes at this location on Saturdays.

Yes. We offer a 10% sibling discount for families with more than one child enrolled in our classes.

We also have a Refer a Friend programme. When a new family enrols and lists your name as the referrer, you receive a $30 credit toward future Ten Feet Tall classes or events.

From time to time we may also offer special opening or early registration offers when launching classes at new locations.

Students do not need to bring anything special. Occasionally they may bring a speech they are working on for school, but most learning takes place through guided activities, speaking exercises, and performance work during the class.
